Bullying is a very serious issue that is relevant to every age group and every community, whether that be a large town or a small school. The adolescence period has been of particular interest to some researchers because when children and teenagers begin to develop who they are they usually either encounter or inflict bullying. This selection details some of the reasons behind bullying during adolescence and it includes statistics that support multiple hypothesis about victimization. This selection is targeted towards 11th grade students.
