One of the easiest but most powerful ways teachers are using Read Ahead: breaking reading assignments into sections so students can take in smaller “chunks” as they navigate through the text. It also makes it easier to read on your phone.
It’s a simple extra step but requires your attention when you first put in the text.
In the first step, where you put the text in, add an extra space between each “chunk” that you want to appear. Just Click the spot, then Return 2 times.
In the second step where you choose words, you will see white and gray to indicate the “chunks” that will appear per slide. You can always click Edit to return to the step to add extra spaces.
