This is a short fable written in the late B.C. time period, about a boy who continuously lies to the villagers about a wolf chasing their sheep. One day, when there is a real wolf, the boy learns the lesson that his lies have prevented people from wanting to help him when there really is trouble. This fable is targeted towards 5th grade students or any young students studying fables.
