The Black Lives Matter movement promotes anti-racism in regards to African Americans throughout America, and now the world. There have been numerous police brutality situations in the United States involving the oppression of African Americans, prompting the BLM movement. The movement is supported by a multitude of races, prompting full, unbiased involvement and support. This excerpt explains how the movement began, why it was started, and how it has progressed over time.
